With over 17 years of industrial and academic experience in Computer Vision, AI and Machine Learning, Usman Tariq is currently working as an Associate Professor at the American University of Sharjah, UAE. Prior to AUS, he served as a Research Scientist at Xerox Research Center Europe, France. Having received MS and PhD degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, prof. Tariq has dedicated his recent research to deepfakes and the analysis of physiological signals such as EEG signals.
