A distinguished academic and technology leader, he serves as Professor and Chair of Computer Science and IT, with a Ph.D. from Canada’s Engineering School of High Technology. His global journey spans Canada, Tunisia, and the UAE, where he has shaped innovation through education and research. A Senior IEEE member and Canadian ISO expert in Software Engineering, he also serves as an ABET Program Evaluator and champion of open-source software. With experience collaborating with the UN and Canadian government, his current passion lies at the intersection of AI and archaeology, where intelligent technology meets the preservation of cultural heritage.
